ok, so in general, aku adalah Recertification Centralized Co-ordinator in short - RCC. Post ni hanya ada di company aku, di department aku...it's private sector man, what are you expecting? Job Post Title that you familiar with?? ok so, department aku ada 2 macam sub department...A & B...sub dept A sahaja ada around 20-30 product line @ station...combine these 2 sub dept, ada around 50++ station...each station is equipped with test equipments that used to test finished products produce by our department...each of this equipments/accessories need to be calibrate yearly to ensure they perform within specification related to product requirement and ISO bla bla...
so, i'm here because i'm the one who has to co-ordinate all of these equipments from production, to calibration lab which could be - calibration lab within our plant, other department within our plant or external (vendors, other A**lent Hub worldwide)...all equipments/accessories registered will have cal due date, so the planning will begins monthly...so, i release the monthly due 2 months ahead - meaning in Jan 2011, i should be releasing the cal due list for March 2011 already so that production planners would have sufficient time to plan their station downtime. at the same time, it made me planner's best friends ~ngeee...
so, once planner plan their production...book the date in the system when they want to release their equipments, i will daily check and pull the scheduled list from the system and pass them to my boys (2 of them) so that they'll do the dismantling & collection from production and have them delivered to cal provider via cal lab...easy rite? yes you wish...things will get complicated as it always does when production can't afford to down their production even for 2 days...so, i have to find a hot swap of same model & frequency range to allocate it at the troublesome station...before i can do that, i have to work closely with production supervisors & AE...at the same time, i'm sort of their best friend too...ahakss...
since my company is a HUUUGE company, we have sub-contractors / contract manufacturere (CM)...so far, we have 2 - one in Penang - V****re and another is H*na in Bangkok Thailand...so all of the test equipments that they're using, they'll ship them back to me for calibration...i'm in the center of everything in/out from my department...whatever shipped to me, i hv to ship them out back ~myself...preparing all those docs, get them signed by 3 managers and then pack 'em and ship 'em via traffic team - D*HL...
back in 2009, if equipments have problem @ faulty, i hv to arrange it for repair...and involves direct communication with worlwide A**lent hub i.e: Japan, Germany, Singapore, UK and US...it's fun you know...so that i can improve my communication skills and create bonding between hubs...but since Nov 2009, all repair jobs are passed to KZ, assistant hired by my boss (serap dr MS) utk assist aku...kalau tidak, mau naik angin manjang je aku ni...stress dgn keje...hihi...alasan utk naik angin yg terBAEKKK...
besides the operation jobs...i hv to do a lotttttt of tracking...shipment tracking, TAT tracking, tracking tracking tracking...all these to fulfill my departments needs and it's been crazily increasing lately....i got tons of emails if i'm on leave more that 3 days and a pile of sh*t to settle once i'm back since my back up is sort of ~ unreliable....
besides all that, all spares equipments also falls on my shoulder...i hv to keep 'em, maintain 'em and track 'em...recently my boss put a door for the lab to make it restricted to certain people...only 4 people hold the key to the lab...and i'm responsible for the tidyness of this lab...crappy crap!
this is one of the example...all these boxes contains parts for engineering project...bila dapat, tk reti2 nk susun...kena plak time aku nk PMS...time la penyakit OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) aku berada di tahap kritikal...so semua aku susun...mana yg semak, aku lempaq buang @ move pi warehouse...btw, kotak2 ni suppose managed by respective engineers @ AE...tp cam biasa le kan...hampeh...see before n after...susah sgt kewwwww nk susun2 bg elok ginih??
